SEDALIA, Mo. - Karina Esquival scored two goals Tuesday night to lead the Jefferson City Lady Jays to a 4-1 victory against the Sedalia Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers.
Kaley Ruff and Natalie Vance also scored for the Lady Jays. Tayler LePage, Sarah Luebbert and Vance had assists.
Jefferson City (8-3-1) is back in action starting Thursday in the Tournament of Champions at Burlington, Iowa.
The Lady Jays open against St. Thomas Aquinas of Overland Park, Kan., at 11 a.m. in the three-day event.
