Lady Falcons track takes second in Tri-County JV championships

The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons took second place Monday in the Tri-County Conference Junior Varsity Championships.

Eldon was first with 145 points, followed by Blair Oaks with 125. Southern Boone was third with 99.

For Blair Oaks, Rachel Isenberg finished first in the 800-meter run (2:38), while Taylor Scott (13:02) and Sarah Wolken (13:15) were 1-2 in the 3,200-meter run.

Other individuals finishing second for Blair Oaks were Kasey Kerperin in the 1,600-meter run, Katelyn Weber in the 300-meter hurdles and Allison Maxwell in the discus.

Blair Oaks also was second in the 4x400- and 4x800-meter relays.

Taking third for the Lady Falcons were Olivia Sieg in the 200-meter dash and the 4x200-meter relay team.

On the boys side, Bo Thomas (5:04) and Cole Brenneke (5:05) claimed the top two spots in the 1,600-meter run.

Taking third for the Falcons were Josh Wilbers in the 110-meter hurdles and Kaleb Cox in the discus. The 4x400-meter relay team also finished fourth.

Blair Oaks was third in the final team standings with 98 points. Eldon was first with 125, followed by School of the Osage with 113.
