Tuesday, Sam Gains Construction Company will close Monroe Street, between Stadium and Woodlawn to conduct work for the Stadium, Monroe and Christy Improvements project.
The closure will begin at 8 a.m. and should be complete June 30, weather and construction permitting.
Detour signage will be posted in the area.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
