OWENSVILLE, Mo. - Several area competitors captured event wins Friday at the Owensville Relays.
The Fatima Comets had two wins on the boys side - Alex Krieg in the 3,200-meter run and Arran McKinney in the discus.
St. Elizabeth was first in the 4x100-meter throwers relay.
On the girls side, Russellville claimed wins in a pair of dashes. Jorden Barnhart was first in the 100-meter dash, while Justice Miller took first in the 200-meter dash.
Fatima earned three titles. Brianna Haller won the 3,200-meter run, while The Lady Comets won both the 4x100- and 4x200-meter relays.
Hannah Oberdiek of South Callaway was first in the high jump, while Mackenzie Struemph of St. Elizabeth was first in the javelin.
