Track: LU's Edwards gets award

Winston Edwards of Lincoln University has been named the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association Male Track Athlete of the Week.

Edwards was first in the 400-meter hurdles at the Dewey Allgood Invitational. His time of 53.25 is a provisional qualifier that ranks fourth in the MIAA. Edwards was also a member of Lincoln's winning 4x400-meter relay team which finished in 3:11.80, the fastest time in the MIAA and the ninth-quickest in NCAA Division II. Edwards teamed with Jeromia Riley, Miguel Barton and Roger Blake on that victorious relay squad.
