The Calvary Lutheran Lions managed just four hits while dropping a 6-4 decision Monday at home to Newburg.
Beau Monson had half of the hits for the Lions (5-4), while Shay Crisp doubled and scored a run. Bradley MacLaughlin had the other hit. Drew Goodin drove in one run with a sacrifice fly.
Alex Flannigan took the loss in relief, giving up five runs on five hits in one-third of an inning.
Calvary, which won the JV game 2-1, will play Saturday at Lutheran: Kansas City.
