CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - Teal Bunbury had a goal and an assist after entering the game in the 61st minute and the New England Revolution beat the Philadelphia Union 2-1 on Sunday.

Bunbury put the Revolution in front in the 76th minute. Diego Fagundez, a sub in the 71st, raced down the right sideline and placed a perfect cross to a striding Bunbury.

New England (3-2-2) extended its undefeated streak to five games.

Cristian Maidana struck a free kick that glanced off the post to give Philadelphia (1-4-3) a 1-0 lead in the 42nd minute. The Revolution's Charlie Davies tied it in the 64th minute. Bunbury beat his defender at the edge of the 18-yard box and delivered a ball to the far post where an unmarked Davies tapped it in.

TIMBERS 1, NYC FC 0

NEW YORK (AP) - Dairon Asprilla scored in the 79th minute to lift Portland past New York City FC.

A failed clearance fell to the feet of Asprilla at the top of the 18-yard box and his deflected shot found the empty side of the net.

Portland (2-2-3) bounced back after losing to the other MLS expansion team, Orlando City, a week ago. NYC FC (1-3-3) had its winless streak reach five games.
