Environmental remediation work to mark 30th anniversary for ARSI

ARSI, an environmental and demolition contractor based in Central Missouri, recently announced in a news release that the firm will handle several high-profile environmental remediation projects during 2015.

ARSI will provide environmental remediation services at the following locations this year:

• Fulton State Hospital: ARSI has been retained to handle asbestos and hazardous materials abatement in eight buildings, five group homes and several utility tunnels on the Fulton State Hospital campus, prior to demolition. This is preliminary work for construction of the new Fulton State Hospital.

• Veteran's Housing Campus, Columbia: ARSI will remediate asbestos in two large buildings in Northeast Columbia, which are slated to be renovated for housing for homeless veterans.

• Columbia Public Schools, Jefferson City Public Schools and Boonville Public Schools: ARSI will work on asbestos abatement, which will facilitate ongoing renovation projects for these public school systems.

• Several other projects for the state of Missouri and the University of Missouri.

Since 1985, ARSI has provided environmental remediation and demolition services to clients throughout Missouri. ARSI has completed hundreds of major environmental projects throughout Missouri, including Jesse Hall in Columbia, the Missouri State Penitentiary and the Hotel Governor in Jefferson City, according to the news release.
