College Baseball: Owls take three

FULTON - The William Woods Owls swept their three-game series with Benedictine-Springfield, sweeping a doubleheader Friday and a single game Saturday.

In the first game Friday, William Woods won 4-3 in 10 innings. Dustin Kremer (Blair Oaks High School) drove in one run with a sacrifice fly.

The Owls then wrapped up the day with a 5-2 victory as Kremer had a double and two RBI.

William Woods completed the sweep Saturday with a 6-4 win as Kremer rapped a pair of hits.

William Woods improved to 31-9 overall and 16-6 in the American Midwest Conference, while Benedictine-Springfield dropped to 15-22 and 11-11.
