Jefferson City man charged with meth production

A Jefferson City man has been charged with making methamphetamine and also possessing the drug.

Court documents show Bradley Duenkel, 37, of 1513 Notting Hill, was being held in the Cole County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

When authorities searched the garage at the residence Duenkel was staying at, they found him attempting to hide items.

Inside a closet authorities found a stack of beverage-type coolers, and upon opening the top cooler they found a mason jar filled with a byproduct that is produced from manufacturing methamphetamine.

Needles, a scale and active methamphetamine pot or active production of methamphetamine was also found.
