COLUMBIA - The Jefferson City Jays freshman team split a doubleheader Wednesday with the Hickman freshmen and sophomores.
Hickman won the first game 7-3. Cade Galbreath had three hits for the Jays. Tyler Bise, Colin Metz and Mason Hansen all added two hits.
The Jays took the nightcap 8-2. Bise, who had two hits, was the winning pitcher for Jefferson City (9-3).
