Boys Tennis: Jays at Invitational

SPRINGFIELD - The Jefferson City Jays won three of their four matches Wednesday in the rain-shortened Springfield Invitational.

David Clausen won his singles match 6-0, while Joey Mendez dropped a 2-8 decision. In doubles, the team of Spencer Bone and Isaac Roling won 6-1, while David Steinmeyer and Dane Biesemeyer combined for a 6-1 victory as well.

Jefferson City will play C.B.C. and Edwardsville, Ill., on Friday at the Columbia Duals.
