SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Jefferson City finished its trip to Springfield by blanking Springfield Central on Saturday, 9-0.
Singles winners for the Jays were David Clausen (6-4, 6-1), David Steinmeyer (6-1, 6-1), Spencer Bone (6-0, 6-2), Dane Biesemeyer (6-2, 2-6, 10-2), Isaac Roling (6-0, 6-1) and Joey Mendez (6-0, 6-0). Doubles winners were Clausen and Bone (8-2), Biesemeyer and Roling (8-0), and Steinmeyer and Karsten McMillan (8-5).
The Jays (6-0) return to action Monday at Hickman.
