Two injured in separate one-vehicle wrecks

An Olean teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 3:40 p.m. Thursday on Mill Road west of Route P in Miller County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 1983 Honda 3-Wheeler 250CC, driven westbound by Curtis P. Cox, 17, ran off the road, and struck a tractor-trailer and a building.

He was taken to University Hospital in Columbia.

Cox was not wearing a safety device.

• A California woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 8:10 p.m. Thursday on South Summit Drive south of U.S. 54 in Callaway County.

The patrol reported a 2004 Jeep Liberty, driven southbound by Dorothy J. Sanders, 51, ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Sanders was taken to SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.

She was wearing a seat belt.

Sanders was arrested for DWI.
