Two Jefferson City men are facing charges following their arrest Sunday for a residential burglary.
Timothy Green, 19, is facing charges of second-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools and felony theft.
Michael Bishop, 18, second-degree burglary and felony stealing.
According to police reports, a burglary in progress was reported around 2 p.m. at an apartment in the 2600 block of Southridge Drive.
A witness observed two individuals enter an apartment through a side window that was broken to gain entry.
One officer observed the suspects exited the residence and attempted to leave the scene in a vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle placed Green and Bishop in custody.
Officers recovered a laptop, a Playstation 4, and various other items taken from the apartment.
