COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri Tigers defeated the Saint Louis University Billikens 10-6 in a softball game Wednesday shortened by rain.
Missouri jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings before Saint Louis scored a run in the third and five in the fourth to take a 6-5 advantage.
Missouri tied it with a run in its half of the fourth, then scored twice in the fifth and sixth innings to get the win.
Amanda Sanchez had three hits to lead a 12-hit Missouri attack. Kayla Kingsley, Emily Crane and Kirsten Mack all had two hits for the Tigers. One of Mack's hits was a home run.
Sami Fagan, Sanchez and Mack all had two RBI.
Missouri (23-7) will play a three-game series starting Friday at Georgia.
Saint Louis is now 20-12 on the season.
