COLUMBIA - The Helias Lady Crusaders exploded for 14 runs while capturing a 14-9 victory against Rock Bridge on Monday.
Lauren Morrow racked up four hits and two RBI for the Lady Crusaders, while Haley Kempker had three hits and two RBI.
Also for Helias, Claire Ludwig had two hits and two RBI and Jordan Nappier had two doubles and one RBI. Kaylie LeCuru and Lindsey Steinbeck had two hits and one RBI apiece.
Steinbeck got the win, scattering 13 hits and allowing just six earned runs while striking out two.
Helias (8-13) will play today at Cairo.
