Nominations for the American Red Cross Heart of Missouri Chapter's 2015 Heroes Dinner, formerly called the Lifesaver Awards Dinner, are now being accepted.
Each year, the American Red Cross honors individuals who respond heroically to help someone in critical need. These individuals are nominated in advance by others in their communities.
Award recipients, along with the chapter's Volunteer of the Year, will be honored at the Heroes Dinner on April 21 at The Capital West Event Center in Jefferson City.
Nomination forms are on the chapter website, www.redcross.org/hom, under the Local Programs tab. Deadline to submit is Feb. 1.
Completed forms can be sent electronically. They also can be printed and mailed or dropped off at chapter offices in Jefferson City or Columbia.

Nomination criteria are included on the form. The nominations are due Feb. 1, 2015.
Award categories include: Healthcare Professional; Law Enforcement; Military; Blood Services; Good Samaritan Adult; Good Samaritan Youth; Firefighter; Emergency Medical Assistance; and Community Impact.
