VIENNA, Mo. - The Vienna Lady Eagles took the title in their own tournament Saturday, finishing with a 3-0 record.
Vienna edged Newburg 6-5 in the title game as Taylour Schoene belted a game-winning home run.
Maddie Stricklan got the win, tossing a four-hitter. She walked six and struck out three. Stricklan also hit a two-run home run.
Vienna also posted victories against Tuscumbia (10-1) and Stoutland (7-0).
Vienna (11-6) will play Tuesday at Stoutland.
