MOKANE, Mo. - The Fatima Lady Comets defeated Mark Twain, New Bloomfield and South Callaway en route to a South Callaway Tournament championship Saturday.
Makala Buscher was the winning pitcher in Fatima's 13-2 win against Mark Twain. Kate Massman had three hits and three RBI, Sammey Bunch had three hits and two RBI, and Leah Kesel, Morgan Brandt and Buscher had two hits and two RBI.
Buscher was the winning pitcher again in a 12-2 win against New Bloomfield.
Brandt had two hits and two RBI, Buscher and Erica Fick had two hits and an RBI each, and Massman added two hits.
Kesel was the winning pitcher in the championship game against South Callaway, a 10-0 Comets victory. Massman and Bunch had two hits, Kristen Boeckman had one hit and three RBI, and Brandt and Fick each had a hit and an RBI.
Fatima (12-6) plays Monday at home against Eugene.
