Lewis and Clark cross country finishes eighth, sixth

BELLE, Mo. - Jefferson City's Lewis and Clark competed at the Belle Invitational on Thursday and finished eighth of 16 in the boys' competition and sixth of 16 in the girls'.

Ben Krause (sixth) medaled for the boys, and Emma Brondel (14th) and Kaitlyn Schwandtner (15th) medlaed for the girls.

Brennan Jeffries (24th), Garrett Butel (65th), Alec Krumm (89th), Bryan Elseman (93rd) and Patrick Malone (103rd) were the top boys runners for Lewis and Clark.

Elizabeth Dunn (45th), Sasha Campbell (54th), Grace Griffin (55th), Jerica Breedlove (89th) and Olivia Scrivner (110th) were the leading runners for the girls.

There were 198 total runners in the boys' competition and 155 in the girls'.
