Lady Crusaders win final regular-season match

The Helias Lady Crusaders golf team ended the regular season on a high note.

Helias shot a 172 to earn a first-place finish Thursday at Oak Hill Golf Center, while California was second at 197 and Eugene finished third at 225.

Mikala Jungmeyer led the field with an 39 to pace Russellvile, which did not field a full team.

Jenna Kosmatka and Asten Lorz both carded a 41, while Luci Francka finished with a 44 and Alex Nelson shot a 47 to lead Helias.

Renee Roberts (46), Rylee Cyenn (49), Sophie Brant (50) an Becca Hamilton paced the second-place Lady Pintos.

Breanna Kempker (51), Kim Wilbers (52) Megan Evers (59) and Rachel Wood (62) led Eugene, while Madison Oliver carded a 44 to help lead Russellville.

Helias wrapped up the regular season with a 12-1-1 record and the Lady Crusaders will start district play Monday at Red Field.
