VIENNA, Mo. - Belle clinched the Gasconade Valley Conference regular season title with its 10-inning win.
Chandler Hicks, who threw the eighth, ninth and 10th innings, was the winning pitcher. She allowed one hit and one hit batter and struck out three.
For Vienna, Maddie Stricklan allowed three earned runs on seven hits and 11 walks. She struck out seven. Sloane Snodgrass had four hits and two steals.
The Lady Eagles (7-6, 2-1 in GVC) host Tuscumbia on Thursday. Vienna's junior varsity team won 3-1.
