NEW BLOOMFIELD - Taylor Hayes of School of the Osage shot a 77 to lead the field Monday in the Capital City Invitational at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.
Jefferson City senior Brooke Thompson posted a 78 to take second, while Helias senior Jenna Kosmatka finished with a 73 to take third.
Hayes, Thompson and Kosmatka were all part of Team Missouri during the Southern States Cup during the summer.
St. Joseph Academy won the team title with a 350, while Warrensburg was second at 356 and Helias was third at 358.
Ellie Severance of Jefferson City, who finished with a 96, recorded a hole-in-one on No. 6 to help lead the Lady Jays, who did not field an entire team.
Hannah Muroski of Southern Boone tied for fourth with an 82 to help lead the Lady Eagles to a 12th-place finish, while Mikalia Jungmeyer of Russellville was seventh in the individual standings with an 84.
Haley Goans shot an 83 to help lead California to an eighth-place finish.
Russellville and School of the Osage also did not field full teams.
