2 area residents hurt in wrecks

A Camdenton woman was injured in a one-car accident at 7:40 a.m. Sunday on Missouri 5, south of Lebanon in Laclede County.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1996 Chevrolet Prism, driven northbound by Jocelyn J. Medina, 42, traveled off the right side of the road and went through two driveways.

Medina was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon.

She was wearing a seat belt.

• A California woman was injured in a one-car accident at 6:15 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 54, west of Hickory Hill Road in Cole County.

The patrol reported a 2007 Mercury Milan, driven westbound by Dawn M. Cain, 52, traveled off the right side of the road into the median, re-entered the highway, skidded across the road and off the right side of the road and overturned.

Cain was taken to St. Mary's Health Center.

She was wearing a seat belt.
