No fatalities in 3-car wreck

Three vehicles were involved in a collision in Boone County early Friday evening.

Randall Stone, 54, of Columbia, had stopped on Route K to pull into a private drive when Scott Coleman, 32, of Columbia, had stopped behind him, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol report. At this time, Megan Ellis, 24, also from Columbia, struck Coleman's vehicle in the rear, causing him to hit Randall.

Margaret Carter, 29, Columbia, was Coleman's passenger and sustained minor injuries, neither Coleman or Carter were wearing a safety device, nor did Coleman have driver insurance. Carter was transported to Boone Hospital via ambulance. Their vehicle was totaled.

The others involved both had insurance and were wearing safety devices. Ellis's vehicle suffered moderate damage and Stone's suffered minor damage.

• Two Fulton females were transported to the University Hospital in Columbia by emergency medical services on Friday afternoon following a Callaway County crash.

The patrol reports Cheynne Clark, 19, was driving when her vehicle traveled off the right side of a Route A and struck a tree, according to police reports. Clark suffered minor injuries, but her passenger, Brianna Likes, 18, suffered moderate injuries.

The vehicle sustained extensive damage, but it was insured and both the driver and the occupant were wearing seat belts.

• A female from Illinois was transported to the University Hospital by emergency medical services following a wreck in Boone County at 3:25 a.m. on Friday.

The patrol reports that Katelyn Lavin, 19, suffered minor injuries after she ran off of the right side of U.S. Highway 63, struck a rock bluff and then returned to the road where she came to a stop and blocked the passing lance, according to police reports. She was insured, but she was not wearing a seat belt.

Her vehicle was totaled.

• A Columbia man struck a wooden traffic barrier and then exited the left side of a Howard County road striking a ditch at 12:39 a.m. on Friday.

According to the patrol, Timothy Berry, 25, suffered minor injuries that were treated at the scene of the accident off of County Road 345. His vehicle suffered minor damages, he did not have insurance and it is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt.
