A new brewery founded by two former Anheuser-Busch employees has started distributing its beer in Jefferson City.

Urban Chestnut opened its second brewery, Urban Chestnut Grove Brewery & Bierhall, located in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood (a.k.a. The Grove) in St. Louis.While the new brewery boasts a 450-person bierhall with a full-service kitchen, the company's primary purpose for building the second facility was to expand Urban Chestnut's brewing capacity.
Jefferson City craft beers lovers can find the German-influenced beers include HyVee, Aibys International Wine and Liquor, Walgreens and Capital Liquor.
