Fischer Farms, a pumpkin patch and corn maze on the north side of the Missouri River outside Jefferson City, will be open for business starting 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26.

The seasonal business will close Nov. 1 or Nov. 8, depending on the weather. Hours are 4-9 p.m. Fridays and noon to 9 p.m. Saturdays; and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. All farm activities will close at dark except the corn maze.

Admission for ages 3 and up are $3 for farm activities (hay ride, corn box, straw maze and animals), or $6 for farm activities and the corn maze.

The 40-acre Callaway County farm also sells pumpkins, straw and mums and corn stocks.

From Jefferson City, take eastbound U.S. 54 across the Missouri River Bridge. Take the airport exit (Route W) and stay right. Turn right onto Hibernia, then turn left onto Mokane Road. Go about 1 1/2 miles and the farm is on the left.
