ST. ELIZABETH - The St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets rode the pitching and hitting of Regan Wilde to a 14-0 win against Newburg in five innings Tuesday.
In the circle, Wilde picked up the win by twirling a five-hitter and striking out four. She didn't walk a batter. At the plate, Wilde racked up two hits and two RBI.
Also for the Lady Hornets, Emma Kemna had two hits, including a double, and scored two runs. Shanley Kliethermes had two hits and scored three runs and Mackenzie Struemph had a triple and two RBI.
St. Elizabeth (6-4) will play Thursday at South Callaway.
In Tuesday's JV game, St. Elizabeth won 12-4 in five innings.
