The Missouri S&T Miners opened Great Lakes Valley Conference volleyball play this weekend by splitting a pair of matches.
On Saturday, the Miners notched a 25-17, 23-25, 25-14, 25-19 win at Saint Joseph's in Rensselaer, Ind.
Krista Haslag (Helias High School) racked up 13 kills in the match and led the Miners with seven blocks.
On Sunday in Indianapolis, S&T dropped a 25-13, 27-25, 25-14 decision to Indianapolis.
Haslag led the Miners with seven kills and also had two blocks and two digs.
S&T is now 2-5 overall and 1-1 in the GLVC.
