WAYNESVILLE - The Jefferson City Lady Jays won the final two games to take a three-game decision Thursday from the Waynesville Lady Tigers.
Waynesville won the opening game 25-17 before Jefferson City rallied to win 25-18 and 25-17.
Maggie Albert finished with 19 assists and nine points and nine assists for the Lady Jays. Mary Wehemeyer totaled a team-high 10 kills, while Mary Vandelicht had eight. Chelsey Klosterman had 10 digs, while Megan Bleidistel had nine.
Jefferson City (5-6-1) will host Lebanon on Monday.
The Lady Jays also won the JV match in three games with scores of 25-18, 17-25, 25-17. Arielle Guitard had 13 digs to lead the winners, while Olivia Hart had nine. Stephanie Fisher finished with five kills for Jefferson City (7-6).
Jefferson City took the freshman match 25-8, 25-11. Baylee Rozier and Corrin Lepper had four kills each for the Lady Jays (6-1), while Emily Louraine and Veronica Allison each had four aces.
