I call your attention to the article "U.S. Hikes Fee To Renounce Citizenship by 422%" ( www.http://www.forbes.com/sites/robertwood/2014/08/28/u-s-hikes-fee-to-renounce-citizenship-by-422/ ). A quote from the article: "Now, the State Department interim rule just raised the fee for renunciation of U.S. citizenship to $2,350 from $450. Critics note that it's more than twenty times the average level in other high-income countries. The State Department says it's about demand on their services and all the extra workload they have to process people who are on their way out." Yeah right!
Could this be kind of like the Soviets Berlin wall? No, I think this regime wants only to try to keep the taxpayers, the 10 percent who pay 70 percent of federal income taxes, from moving away to avoid paying taxes. How else can the regime continue to cover the cost of support for the 47 percent who pay hardly any taxes?

A quote from the article: "For January to March, 1,001 people are on the latest list . One name you'll recognize? Tina Turner . The total for one quarter last year was even higher, but it's nearly a 50 percent jump from January to March of 2013. With 2,999 for all of 2013 , the number for 2014 could top 4,000. But these are just IRS and Treasury Department numbers."
Hello out there. Does anyone get the picture? It shouldn't take a genius to figure out why these people see more of a future in another country than here. That's why our self-appointed dictator's regime has to do something to try to stem the tide. Obama's got to do something to be able to afford to continue to grow his, and the Democrat party's, government dependent voter base.
Think about it, what will happen if the responsible tax paying citizens continue to leave? How on earth will he pay for all the illegal immigrants he's inviting into this country for voting citizenship? Oh, I forgot, he'll be gone in two years so why should he care? You know something? I don't know about you, but I think most of us plan on being here after he's gone. God help us!
