WEST PLAINS, Mo. - The Lady Falcons volleyball team advanced from pool play but fell to Batesville, Ark. in the first round of the West Plains tournament.
In pool play, Blair Oaks split with Batesville with scores of 25-21 and 22-25. The Lady Falcons then beat Cabool (25-23, 25-7) and split with West Plains (23-25, 25-22).
Allison Maxwell led the way in pool play with 13 kills, nine aces and seven blocks. Taylor Stockman had 16 kills, Ryan Dudenhoeffer had eight blocks, Shelbi Koelling added 23 diggs, and Sadie Turner had 23 assists.
After finishing second in pool play, Blair Oaks faced Batesville once again in the first round of tournament play. This time the Arkansas team won 22-25, 26-24, 25-18.
Maxwell had nine kills and 16 digs. Madison Abbott and Dudenhoeffer had six kills apiece. Dudenhoeffer also had six blocks. Turner had 13 assists, and Rebecca Schroeder had three aces.
Blair Oaks (5-1-2) plays Eldon at home Tuesday.
