A program exploring Confederate Gen. Sterling Price's raid through Missouri is set for 7 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Missouri State Archives.
Author Walter E. Busch will lead a discussion where he will argue Price's raid was more effective than most historians acknowledge.
Busch is natural resources manager for the Fort Davidson State Historic Site where the Battle of Fort Davidson took place. This was the opening engagement of Price's Missouri raid.
