SEDALIA, Mo. - The Helias Lady Crusaders tied the Warrensburg Lady Tigers for the top spot in a quadrangular Tuesday at Sedalia Country Club.
Helias and Warrensburg both posted totals of 168. Jefferson City was third with a 195, while Sedalia Smith-Cotton was fourth with a 202.
Jenna Kosmatka of Helias and Hannah Johnson of Warrensburg tied for medalist honors with 2-over 37s.
Lauren Plunkett added a 42 for Helias, while Alex Nelson carded a 43 and Ashton Lorts totaled a 46.
Brooke Thompson led Jefferson City with a 39. Claire Shipley shot a 48, while Blair Michael had a 53 and Ellie Severance finished with a 55.
Helias and Jefferson City are two of the 18 teams playing today in the Helias Invitational at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club. Russellville and California are also slated to play.
