COLUMBIA - Connor Blitz scored 36 seconds into overtime Monday night to lift the Rock Bridge Bruins to a 1-0 victory against the Jefferson City Jays in the opening round of the Class 4 District 11 Tournament.
It was scoreless through the opening 80 minutes.
Rock Bridge, the No. 2 seed, advances to take on top-seeded Hickman for the district title at Battle High School. Hickman blanked Battle 4-0 in Monday's opening contest.
Jefferson City ends its season at 14-8.
