Probation given in teen trespassing case

A Jefferson City man charged with unlawfully entering into the Truman Building in August has been placed on two years unsupervised probation.

Adam Milligan, 17, of 3803 Terra Bella Drive, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree trespassing.

A Capitol Police probable cause statement shows Milligan entered the office building while the building was closed Aug. 16.

Milligan went into various offices, taking items, ransacking offices and eating food that was left out.

Officers found Milligan eating food in a break room, and he was taken into custody.
