Shawnelle Yarborough, 21, Jefferson City, faces one felony charges and several misdemeanors after Jefferson City police arrested him for early Monday morning rash of vehicle thefts.
After reports throughout the city, police obtained information through investigative leads about a possible vehicle and suspect. Later during the day officers were able to locate that suspect vehicle.
During the stop, a number of stolen items were recovered in the vehicle and confirmed to have been part of the earlier thefts.
Yarborough was arrested by officers and taken into custody and subsequently interviewed by detectives.
