Jays JV blanks Waynesville in football

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. - The Jefferson City JV improved to 6-0 on the season with a 28-0 win Thursday at Waynesville.

Gunnar See had a hand in all four touchdowns for the Jays. He had a 6-yard run for the first, teamed up with Bryce Beckley on passes of 40 and 48 yards, and then hit Lucas Sochinski for a 38-yard scoring.

The Jays missed PATs after their first and third scores, and got 2-point runs from Adam Huff and See.

Keon Johnson had a blocked punt for Jefferson City, while Christian Mayberry had an interception.

The Jays will close out the season Monday when they host Rockhurst.
