JC woman dies in Callaway Co. accident

A Jefferson City woman was killed and two people injured in a two-vehicle accident at 5:28 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 54 at South Outer Road of 1-70 in Callaway County.

According to the patrol report a 2001 Dodge Dakota, driven northbound by Kenneth V. Wildhaber, 83, Jefferson City, made a left turn from U.S. 54 onto North Outer Road. The vehicle traveled through the intersection, into the right side of a 2009 Peterbil T 379 conventional, driven eastbound by Arthur G. Dorn, Troy.

Lauraine Wildhaber, 82, Jefferson City, a passenger in the Wildhaber vehicle was taken to St. Mary's Health Center and then transferred to University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Kenneth Wildhaber was taken to St. Mary's Health Center.

Dorn was taken to Callaway Community Hospital.
