Staggs voted MVP of Tri-County softball

Payton Staggs of Blair Oaks was selected as the Most Valuable Player in softball by Tri-County Conference coaches.

Staggs, a junior pitcher/infielder, is one of four Lady Falcons to earn first-team all-conference honors. She was joined by senior teammates Jolie Duffner, Ashley Forck and Taylor Markway.

Other first-team picks included Treva Hankey of Eldon, Taylor Good from School of the Osage, Katie Price of Southern Boone and Hallsville teammates Ashley Reed and Hailey Crabtree.

Lauren Viessman and Mackinnley Hamacher of Blair Oaks were among the second-team selections.

Renee Winters of Versailles was selected as Coach of the Year.
