FULTON - The Columbia College Cougars snuck past the William Woods Owls 13-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-18, 15-9 in volleyball action Friday night.
Brittney Engelbrecht (Helias High School) racked up a team-high 43 assists for William Woods and also had seven digs, three kills and three blocks. Abbi McKnelly (Jefferson City High School) added 11 kills, three digs and one block for the Owls.
Columbia is now 21-4 overall and 5-2 in the American Midwest Conference, while William Woods is 14-11 and 5-2.
