2 arrested after narcotics search warrant served in JC

Two people were taken into custody as a result of a search warrant served Friday morning in Jefferson City.

According to police reports, at around 10:30 a.m. members of the police department's SWAT Team served a search warrant at 1000 Monroe Street.

The warrant, which was secured by narcotics detectives, focused on the presence of narcotics as well as possible narcotics sales at that location.

Jessica Frazier, 22, and Chad Davis, 24, both of Jefferson City, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Davis is also facing a charge of distribution of a controlled substance.

Due to the state of living conditions at the home, members of the city's planning and protective services department responded and deemed the residence to be uninhabitable.

No one was injured during the warrant service.
