The Jefferson City Lady Jays had a pair of doubles teams qualify for the Class 2 individual state tournament.
The doubles teams of Eden Hoogveld and Paige Smith, along with Kelly Raithel and Kristen Schmidt won their sectional matches Tuesday in Springfield.
Hoogveld and Smith are advancing to state for the third consecutive year after claiming a 6-1, 6-0 win against Emilee Erdell and Asana Rimal of Springfield Central.
Raithel and Schmidt will make the trip to state after claiming a 6-3, 6-0 win against Coral Tracy and Kristina Taylor of Kickapoo.
In singles action, Jefferson City's Athira Nambiar fell 6-4, 6-2 to Amanda Schmidt of Kickapoo. Erica Dunn of the Lady Jays also suffered a 6-0, 6-0 loss to Rachel Dwyer of Glendale.
Jefferson City will host team sectionals at 9 a.m. Saturday at Washington Park.
