A Jefferson City man has been charged in connection with a drug investigation last week.
Roosevelt Easley, 29, of 616 Jefferson St., was charged with possession of heroin, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana.
A Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement shows Easley provided false identification due to the fact he had several outstanding warrants for his arrest.
He also attempted to pull away from the arresting officer several times before eventually being taken to the ground and handcuffed.
A search of him turned up three Ziploc bags containing various amounts of heroin and another Ziploc bag with a small amount of marijuana.
