The Lady Crusaders defeated Kirksville 5-0 to claim a Class 1, District 8 championship Friday.
In doubles, Abby and Ashley Dowden (8-1), Mary Conley and Lauren Highfill (8-3) and Megan Villanueva and Cassidy Roling (8-1).
In singles play, Ashley Dowden won 6-1, 6-1 and Abby Dowden won 6-0, 6-0. Conley (6-0, 4-0), Highfill (6-0, 3-3), Villanueva (6-0, 4-1) and Roling (6-3, 2-1) each were leading before the Lady Crusaders reached five points.
Helias (16-3) plays in Kirksville tomorrow for the individual district tournament.
