An Eldon man was injured in a one-car accident at 9 p.m. Wednesday on Missouri 87 north of Boulder Road in Miller County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, driven southbound by Ernest T. Hegg, 26, struck an animal in the road, ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.
Hegg was taken to Lake Regional Hospital.
He was wearing a seat belt.
