A Jefferson City man was placed on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to one count of possession of child pornography.
Gary Buettner, 59, of 606 E. State St., is believed to have pornographic images of four young females, ranging in age from 10-17.
A Missouri Highway Patrol probable cause statement shows authorities served a search warrant on Buettner's residence in November 2013.
Numerous computers, hard drives and digital media were located, and Buettner told investigators that he used file-sharing software to download pornography.
He was able to describe some of the videos depicting children being sexually assaulted by adults.
