FREEPORT, Bahamas (AP) - Tiffany Mitchell scored 21 points and A'ja Wilson added 11 of her 15 in the second half as No. 1 South Carolina rallied to beat No. 22 Syracuse 67-63 in the Junkanoo Jam on Friday night.

The Gamecocks (5-0) trailed by 10 with 6:43 left before rallying. They took a 60-59 lead after Sessions' steal and layup with 3:35 left.

Briana Day hit two free throws with 2:06 left to give Syracuse (4-1) a 61-60 advantage.

Asia Dozier hit a 3-pointer 15 seconds later and after the Gamecocks forced a shotclock violation, Tina Roy hit a layup to make it 65-61. Mitchell added a free throw after an Orange turnover to seal the win.

Brianna Butler scored 18 points and Day added 13 points and 17 rebounds for the Orange.

No. 3 UCONN 85, COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON 24

FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 21 points and Morgan Tuck added 15 to help Connecticut rout College of Charleston in the first-round of the Gulf Coast Showcase.

The two-time defending national champions (3-1) will play Vanderbilt (5-0) tonight in the winners' bracket semifinals.

UConn, which has scored at least 85 points in every game this season, took an 8-0 lead. A 16-0 run turned a 16-7 margin to 32-7. A 15-4 run put it up 47-11. The Huskies led at halftime 50-13. They shot 53 percent from the field (20-of-38) and had a 31-12 rebound advantage.

UConn scored the first 17 points of the second half to go up 67-13. College of Charleston didn't score until 13:24 remained in the second half.

Erin Hall led College of Charleston (0-5) with 11 points.

No. 11 NORTH CAROLINA 70, No. 5 STANFORD 54

HONOLULU (AP) - Latifah Coleman scored 19 points and Xylina McDaniel added 15 to help North Carolina upset Stanford in an opening-round game of the Rainbow Wahine Shootout.

Stephanie Mavunga added 10 and eight rebounds for the Tar Heels (5-0), who avenged a nine-point loss to the Cardinal (3-2) in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA tournament last April.

Coleman, a senior guard, also had six rebounds and six assists. She made 7 of her 12 shots from the field, including 4 of 6 on 3-pointers, and scored 14 of her points in the second half.

North Carolina shot 61 percent (17 of 28) from the field in the second half.

Lili Thompson scored 11 of her 15 points in the second half to lead Stanford, which shot just 31 percent (17 of 55) from the field for the game.

No. 8 DUKE 72, STONY BROOK 42

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Oderah Chidom scored 13 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Duke to a win over Stony Brook.

Duke (5-0) also got good production from its other freshmen. Sierra Calhoun added 13 points and Rebecca Greenwell finished with 10 points in the second half.

Stony Brook (3-2) was led by Sabre Proctor with 10 points, all in the second half, while Kori Bayne-Walker added nine points.

Duke held a 29-19 halftime lead despite shooting 29 percent (9 of 31) from the floor in the first 20 minutes. But Duke came out with a quick burst to go up by 20 points when senior center Elizabeth Williams scored off an offensive rebound. She finished with five points before leaving the game with 7:17 left in the game with an injured left ankle.

No. 9 KENTUCKY 92, OKLAHOMA 88, OT

ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands (AP) - Makayla Epps scored nine of her career-high 29 points in overtime and Linnae Harper added 22 to help Kentucky beat Oklahoma in the Paradise Jam.

Trailing 78-70 with 1:31 left in the second half, Kentucky rallied scoring nine of the next 10 points to send it to overtime.

Epps hit the second of two free throws with one second left in regulation to tie the game at 79. She had five points in the spurt.

Kentucky (5-1) kept the momentum going in overtime scoring eight of the first 10 points to go up 87-81 on Azia Bishop's layup with 2:42 left.

Nicole Kornet scored 21 points and Sharane Campbell added 20 for the Sooners (3-2).

No. 10 MARYLAND 80, JAMES MADISON 64

GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico (AP) - Lauren Mincy scored 23 points and Lexie Brown added 13 to help Maryland beat James Madison at the San Juan Shootout.

Leading 11-10, Maryland (6-0) scored 11 straight points over the next 3:22 to take control of the game. Brene Moseley had five points during the burst. The Terps led 40-27 at the half.

James Madison was able to cut the deficit to nine on two free throws by Destiny Jones with 14:18 left in the game, but that's as close as the Duke could get.

Precious Hall scored 29 points and Toia Giggetts added 18 for James Madison (4-1). The Dukes had no one else score more than five.

No. 12 LOUISVILLE 102, LAFAYETTE 61

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Mariya Moore had 11 points and 10 assists, Myisha Hines-Allen scored 18 and Louisville beat Lafayette.

The Cardinals (6-0) out-rebounded Lafayette 20-4 on the offensive glass, forced 22 turnovers and edged the Leopards in shot attempts (75-49) as a result.

Hines-Allen made the most of the extra chances with 9-of-13 shooting. Louisville was 39 of 75 overall and 5 of 10 from 3-point range.

Lafayette (3-2) led 20-18 on Jamie O'Hare's 3-pointer midway through the first half, but the Cardinals took the lead for good with a 28-2 run.

O'Hare was 4 of 8 from 3-point range with 20 points to lead the Leopards. Emily Homan chipped in 12 points and seven rebounds.

Jude Schimmel was 4 of 5 from 3-point range with 15 points for Louisville. Emmonnie Henderson scored 13, Sara Hammond and Megan Deines had 11 apiece, and Bria Smith 10.

No. 13 BAYLOR 99, UTAH STATE 43

WACO, Texas (AP) - Khadijiah Cave scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Kristina Higgins had 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Baylor beat Utah State in an opening game of the Travelers Classic.

Imani Wright scored 12 points and had six assists, Nina Davis scored 11 and grabbed eight rebounds and the Lady Bears (2-1) outshot the Aggies from the field 47.7 percent to 24.3 percent.

Tilar Clark led Utah state (1-3) with eight points.

Cave hit a jumper and Baylor never looked back, opening with a 22-8 run in which Dekeiya Cohen scored seven straight points. The Lady Bears led 50-22 at halftime, with Cave and Imani each scoring 9 points.

Baylor used a 16-2 run to pull to a 79-35 second-half lead and cruised.

Cave, who came into the game averaging 18 points and six rebounds off the bench, made 10 of 11 free throw attempts.

No. 14 CALIFORNIA 110, SAN JOSE STATE 87

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - Brittany Boyd had 11 points, 12 assists and 13 rebounds, recording her second career triple-double as California coasted by San Jose State 110-87 in the Cal Classic.

Gabby Green added 17 points, 12 boards and seven assists for the Golden Bears (5-0). Reshanda Gray led Cal with 21 points, Mikayla Cowling had 18 and Courtney Range chipped in 16 with nine rebounds.

Cal shot 56.8 percent from the field and had 34 assists on 46 field goals. They also out-rebounded San Jose State 58-44.

Jasmine Smith led the Spartans (2-3) with 19 points, Ta'Rea Cinnigan had 14 and Ali Bettencourt 12. San Jose State was limited to 31-of-91 shooting.

Boyd's other triple-double came in a 75-68 overtime win over Washington State last season. She becomes just the second player in Pac-12 history to record more than one in a career.

No. 15 NEBRASKA 71, UCLA 66

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Rachel Theriot scored 24 points as Nebraska erased a double-digit first-half deficit and rallied to defeat UCLA.

Emily Cady scored 18 points and Tear'a Laudermill added 15 as the Cornhuskers improved to 5-0.

With the score tied at 56-56 with 4:13 left, Nebraska outscored UCLA 15-10 down the stretch, highlighted by Brandi Jeffrey's 3-pointer and Theriot's eight free throws, to secure the win.

Jordin Canada scored 14 points and Kari Korver added 13 points for the Bruins (0-4), who shot 34.2 percent but outrebounded the Cornhuskers 39-36.

ARKANSAS 77, No. 17 IOWA 67

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Kelsey Brooks scored 24 points, Jessica Jackson added 22 and Arkansas pulled away from Iowa at the South Pointe Thanksgiving Shootout.

The Razorbacks (5-0) took control by pounding the boards and getting to the free throw line. Arkansas had a 51-24 rebounding advantage and hit 20 of 33 free throws.

Iowa (5-1), which got 23 points from Ally Disterhoft, was just 2 of 6 from the foul line.

The Hawkeyes averaged more than 90 points in winning their first five games but Arkansas allowed just 44.8.

Jhasmin Bowen added 14 points for Arkansas and had nine rebounds. Melissa Wolff had 9 points and 10 rebounds and Calli Berna had nine assists.

Iowa was up 27-25 at the half but the Razorbacks, who shot 36 percent in the first half, warmed up to 53 percent and also made 10 free throws in the final 66 seconds.

No. 21 RUTGERS 66, COLGATE 44

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) - Betnijah Laney scored 17 points and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds for her fifth consecutive double-double to open the season, and undefeated Rutgers beat winless Colgate.

Kahleah Copper also scored 17 points for the Scarlet Knights (5-0). Both Laney and Copper made over half of their shots, making up for Rutgers' overall shooting percentage of 37.1 (26 of 70). The team's leading scorer coming into the game at 17.3 points per game, Tyler Scaife, scored six points, making just 3 of 11 shots. Rutgers made only 1 of 11 3-pointers.

The Red Raiders (0-5) had a worse day, making just 16 of 56 shots for 28.6 percent. They made 3 of 17 3-pointers and didn't have a player reach double figures.

The Scarlet Knights had a 50-45 rebounding edge and took advantage of 18 Colgate turnovers, nine coming off steals.
