Jefferson City police are asking for help in finding who fired multiple shots that hit a building in a public housing area Thanksgiving morning.
According to police reports, at approximately 10:12 a.m. officers responded to the 1400 block of Elizabeth Street for multiple calls of shots fired.
Several spent shell casings were recovered and one building was found to have been struck by bullets.
The occupants of that building were checked and no injuries were reported.
